Overview

Dhulikhel Namobuddha Panauti Day Tour is an easy and pleasant day tour around the Kathmandu valley. It is also called Kathmandu day tour for monastery and temples. Your tour will begin from Dhulikhel to Namobuddha, where you will visit the Namobuddha View Point, Namobuddha Monastery, and Namobuddha temples. You will also get to trek down to Panauti (1340m) and experience the unique Newari cultures. After, you will drive back to Kathmandu.

Dhulikhel is a small Newari town of old houses and temples. It is 30km away from Kathmandu via the Araniko Highway. Dhulikhel is a hill station for viewing the beautiful snow-peaked Himalayas from Karyolung in the east to Himalchuli in the west . This is a local weekend retreat for the locals to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Kathmandu city.

Panauti :
It is a thriving village of the road to Dhulikhel, with some very lovely temples and interesting old houses, particularly beautiful area some fourteenth century wooden temple struts. The drive is through beautiful countryside.

Namo Buddha :
It is situated on a hill above Panauti. It requires an easy drive or good walk to get here. There is an amazing story concerned with the Buddha which is commemorated by an ancient stone slab and a Stupa with the all- seeing eyes of Lord Buddha.
