Langtang Valley Trek Route

The journey to the Langtang trekking region generally begins from Kathmandu. Trekkers travel by road toward Syabrubesi, the common starting point for the Langtang Valley Trek.

The route passes through Trishuli Bazaar and Dhunche, the administrative headquarters of Rasuwa District, before continuing to Syabrubesi. From Syabrubesi, the trekking portion of the journey begins and continues through forests and traditional mountain settlements toward Langtang Valley and Kyanjin Gompa.

One of the advantages of the Langtang Valley Trek from Kathmandu is its relatively convenient access compared with many other popular Himalayan trekking destinations.
